Happy Holidays from ÆTHEION!

During these special times, we must stick together. At ÆTHEION® we want to continue being a part of your family as you are already part of ours. We wish you and your family Happy Holidays and a Healthy New Year!

It’s no secret that the holiday season this year has looked very different from what we are normally used to. Thanksgiving and Christmas are two of the biggest celebrations that allow us to meet with friends and family we don’t see regularly. However, in this new world getting together is difficult, if not impossible for some. With travel and contact restrictions many families won’t be able to get together and celebrate traditionally. Even people that live in the same city find themselves having to stay separated due to social distancing regulations. Christmas might be feeling like a failed holiday at this point. But it doesn’t have to be!

Times like these can make us feel down in the dumps, but there are still a lot of things to be grateful for. There are a lot of different ways we can celebrate the season even if it means sticking to the current safety measures, because of COVID-19.

Plan a Virtual Holiday party

Technology is a great thing and has come very far in the last few decades. Today, it allows us to talk and see people in real-time even if they’re across the world. Webcams and video-chats have been essential for people who work from home (Zoom, anyone?) but why not plan a virtual Christmas party with this tool as well! You can chat while you prepare the Grand Feast or wait until everyone is ready to sit down and eat. However, you decide, sharing the special day with family and friends no matter how far away will always be special.

Make gingerbread cookies or decorate a gingerbread house

What better way to get into the holiday spirit than to get creative and be able to eat your creation afterward!? Whether it’s just you or the family and friends you can visit, putting together some scrumptious cookies is sure to brighten up your spirits.

Decorate the tree

If you haven’t already, what are you waiting for!? There are not many days left till Christmas, and it’s never too late to put up the tree! (Unless Christmas has passed. Then it would be too late.) Maybe this year switch out the old bulbs for new ones. Or buy a special ornament to commemorate the year and all the crazy events that happened during it.

Send out Christmas Cards

This age-old tradition still makes most people smile. In times like these where technology and email reign, who wouldn’t want the nice surprise of opening a Christmas card from your loved one? You don’t even have to spend money on the cards themselves. Hand Making Christmas cards will make it all the more special! Whether you mail them across the country or deliver them personally to your friendly neighbor, the magic still and thoughtfulness still counts.

We wish you Happy Holidays!
